Premium Surface marker board: Unlike most other chalkboard surfaces, the Premium maker board is made of a non-porous, hard laminate material with matte finish. NEON dry erase markers or liquid chalk pens are needed to write on the black dry erase surface. Regular dry erase markers are not visible on this surface. Old fashion chalk sticks do not work. 
 
MEASURE BEFORE YOU PURCHASE. Make sure the tap handle is not too tall and it does not block the freezer door if used on fridge kegerator.

The wood is unfinished, sanded. You can use it unfinished if you like to, it will get a nice patina on it after some time, or apply finish of your choice. Great for kegerator taps, breweries, restaurants, bars, pubs and homebrewers. Some of the wood I am using is reclaimed and may have occasional tiny worm hole or tiny defect.
